This material has excellent adhesion to a variety of plastics including polycarbonate. Use a suitable solvent (such as acetone or isopropanol) for the degreasing of surfaces. Some metals such as aluminium, copper and its alloys will benefit from light abrasion with emery cloth (or similar), to remove the oxide layer.<\/p>\n<h3>Directions for Use<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Apply the adhesive sparingly to one surface.<\/li>\n<li>Bring the components together quickly and\u00a0correctly aligned.<\/li>\n<li>Apply sufficient pressure to ensure the adhesive\u00a0spreads into a thin film.<\/li>\n<li>Do not disturb or re-align until sufficient strength\u00a0is achieved, normally in a few seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Any surplus adhesive can be removed with\u00a0Permabond CA solvent, nitromethane or acetone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>NB:\u00a0For difficult or porous surfaces using a Permabond activator is recommended.
